Boy Scout Troop 158 is chartered by the Rotary Club of Simpsonville Foundation in Simpsonville, SC. Our troop is part of the Swamp Rabbit District of the Blue Ridge Council in Greenville, SC.
The Troop, led by Scoutmaster Todd Dover, meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm in the Simpsonville United Methodist Church fellowship hall. We have approximately 35 to 50 scouts from the rank of Scout to Eagle organized in six boy led patrols.
We have a strong Troop Committee that meets every other month to plan and ensure the year keeps going strong.
Troop 158 is active all year round with activities such as camping, hiking, and service projects, as well as many special events such as week-long canoeing trips, summer camp, scout camporees, and Philmont Scout Ranch.
